We are looking for a Construction Compliance Coordinator to cover a specified purpose contract and manage planning compliance from Pre-Construction through Construction at handover.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with the Design Team and attend design meetings at pre-construction to prioritise planning compliance.
* Manage Local Authority warning and enforcement letters, ensuring timely responses and close-out.
* Review design drawings with focus on Local Authority requirements.
* Draft plans including the Construction & Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), Resource and Waste Management Plan (RWMP), and Operational Waste Management Plan (OWMP).
* Develop site logistics plans to support the above documents.
* Ensure S4 status drawings are obtained for relevant planning conditions.
* On handover from Pre-Construction to Construction, monitor and manage the planning compliance tracker through the construction phase to ensure full compliance with all conditions.
* Regularly review the planning compliance tracker, focusing on pre-occupation conditions, and work with site management to ensure adherence. Visit sites when necessary.
* Liaise with Planning Consultants and other Consultants as needed to achieve planning compliance.
* Create a waste tracker template for projects to monitor and ensure compliance.
* Track environmental monitoring reporting by external consultants on projects where relevant during construction.

Requirements
* Strong knowledge of planning compliance, local authority requirements, and construction regulations; ability to review and interpret design drawings to align with planning conditions.
* Experience liaising with design teams and attending design meetings at pre-construction to prioritise planning compliance and maintain through handover to construction.
* Proven ability to draft and manage key planning documents including CEMP, RWMP, OWMP, and site logistics plans; ability to create trackers and templates to monitor compliance.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills for liaising with planning consultants, local authorities, site management, and internal teams, including managing planning queries and enforcement letters.
* Strong organisational skills to track project actions, maintain records such as risk registers and compliance trackers, and report on progress to ensure all planning and environmental conditions are met.
