Venn Group are currently working with an organisation based in Dublin who are seeking a
Director of Operations
on a permanent basis.
This organisation provides childcare services to preschool and primary-aged children across Ireland and they are looking to bring in a highly experienced candidate who can support them with their plans to scale their business.
Main duties of the job:
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve the company's short-term and long-term goals.
Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage people, financial, and material resources effectively to support operational objectives and maximise productivity.
Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Finance, Business Development and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
Analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the organisation's assets and reputation.
Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effective solutions that meet the organisation's needs.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices adoption across the organisation.
Communicate operational strategies, objectives, and performance metrics effectively to senior management, stakeholders, and the operations team.
The successful candidate must have:
Proven experience (5 years) in a senior management role overseeing operations in the childcare industry
