Project Managers are the backbone of any construction project. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Job Description:
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce to drive a culture of health and safety across the project site.
* Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan, with specific reference to the Health and Safety and Quality plan.
* Prepare contract reports and update cost meetings with the QS.
* Review buildability and identify methods of construction with commercial or programme advantage where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate leadership skills by driving an embedded HS&E culture on site.
2. Manage day-to-day activities on site, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Coordinate project activities according to company quality systems and engineering specifications.
4. Maintain relationships with clients, architects, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering discipline, Civil, Structural, or Construction Management.
* Experience working within a main/specialist contractor.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
