We are currently seeking to recruit an
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
who will work mainly on projects in the Co Kildare area.
Job purpose - Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Accountable for all assisting Senior Quantity Surveyor with all aspects of surveying and commercial functions on projects.
Duties and responsibilities
Assisting in preparation and updating of contract budget
Supporting commercial team in managing contractual and legal aspects of project
Liaison with Senior QS
Administration of contract recordsAssisting in production of monthly JCR's and JCS's
Attendance at relevant contract review meetings
Helping to updating of cash reporting and collection
Maintaining good relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
Qualifications and experience
Ability and knowledge of:
Construction methods and technologies
Measurement and valuation
Ability to form good working relationships with all stakeholders
Knowledge and understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement
Prior exposure to preparation and understanding of commercial reports
Contracts; bespoke and standard forms
Knowledge of health and safety, quality procedures and construction industry
Applicants should have two years' experience within a quantity surveying role.
