We are looking for a Security Manager to join our Team in Waterford
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 08:*****:00
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of security including the development of the team
Sustain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure that a quality service is being always delivered
Establish and maintain effective communication links with other colleagues within the greater on-site team and the team across other client sites
Act as day-to-day point of contact for all related services to the client while ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service
Ensures the smooth running of the site(s) adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification
To arrange/carry out the induction and 'on the job' training of the security staff in accordance with relevant client & Apleona company practices
To undertake in conjunction with the Contract Manager and HR Department, recruitment of security employees in accordance with relevant Apleona company practices
To organize the provision of relief/ holiday cover for security staff as required
To authorize, allocate, and record security staff absences
Liaising with the client and employees, internal and external, monitoring activities, monitoring visitors to the site, monitoring CCTV, dealing with alarm activations in line with procedures
Answer, screen and direct calls accordingly, message management
Meet & Greet persons entering organization
Customer care, general administrative and clerical support
Ensure coordination of Post/Taxi's/Couriers etc.
Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
Ensures knowledge of contractor movements in and out of organization
Ensure knowledge of contractor management system
Ensure all contractors are inducted and relevant permits are in place
Dealing with the daily/monthly maintenance checks/facilities
Access Control including logging vehicle registration numbers, scanning/conducting searches
Reviewing documentation presented by 3rd parties on site, checking tagging systems, issue/retrieval of temporary ID cards
Manage and Conduct when required Patrols of premises
Other reporting in line with procedure and any additional duties as requested by the Contract Manager
Manage all aspects of the contract under their control.
Ensuring the PPM plan is executed in accordance with the contract and other services are completed on time and within budget
Promote and deliver the aims of the company to meet or exceed the quality levels and customer support
Ensure that the site is following the company quality measures and procedures in conjunction with the current policies and procedures
Monitor and oversee on remote sites to ensure compliance
Ensure the Contract Service Level Agreements are achieved
Assist in ensuring all training requirements are met where applicable
Promote & Encourage Environmental & Waste Management policies
Management of contractual documents and KPIs
Ensure safe systems of work are in place for all operations
Suggest and implement improvements and innovations in service delivery
Assist and support with the company security function if required
Take on ad hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by line manager or authorized representative
Qualifications and Experience
Must hold valid PSA Licence
Must have at least five years relevant experience
Strong knowledge and skill of administrative and clerical procedures
Strong knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Experience in Site Management
Flexible in your approach- willingness to help; 'can do' attitude
