Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday)

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Adviser to support and embed Health, Safety, and Environmental best practices across Client's projects. The role involves advising operational teams, ensuring legal compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement within our HSEQ framework.
Responsibilities
* Provide competent HSE advice to operational teams across Enerveo’s projects and contracts.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards.
* Support incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.
* Assist in the development and review of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and other safe systems of work.
* Deliver HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks where necessary.
* Monitor and report on HSE performance, using KPIs and data trends to influence decision-making.
* Promote behavioural safety initiatives and contribute to a positive safety culture.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards (e.g., CDM 2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies as required.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within utilities, construction, electrical infrastructure, or civil engineering.
* Working knowledge of UK HSE legislation, CDM regulations, and ISO management systems.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Enerveo sites.
* Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.
* Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH or higher).
* Experience working in a high-voltage or electrical contracting environment.
* Behavioural safety training or experience with safety culture programmes.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within utilities, construction, electrical infrastructure, or civil engineering.
* Working knowledge of UK HSE legislation, CDM regulations, and ISO management systems.
* Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH or higher).
