The role
Major Incident Manager | Galway | Up to €400 per Day
We are seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager to join a global technology operations team in Galway. This role requires a strong operational background, excellent communication skills, and solid networking/infrastructure knowledge.
You will lead the resolution of high-impact IT incidents, coordinate technical teams, manage stakeholder communications, and drive service restoration within SLA targets.
Working Pattern
4 x 10‑hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Irish Time)
Typically Saturday–Tuesday
Occasionally Thursday–Sunday based on business needs
Remote on weekends, hybrid during weekdays
Key Requirements
Previous Major Incident or Incident Management experience
Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and networking
Ability to manage multiple priorities in high‑pressure environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working with global technical teams
ITIL experience preferred
