We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in Dublin or Galway.
About the Role
1. Flood Risk Assessments for major developments in Ireland (Stages 1-3)
2. Hydrological analysis and river modelling for infrastructure projects
3. Flood Relief Scheme design and technical documentation
4. Reservoir and dam safety inspections across Ireland
5. Water infrastructure construction supervision and contract administration
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* 1-4 years of experience (graduates with relevant exposure also considered)
* A good understanding of hydrology/river modelling principles
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within project teams
* Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS 1D/2D, Flood Modeller, AutoCAD, Innovyze/MicroDrainage
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and willingness to develop skills in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS or MapInfo
* Awareness of public procurement procedures and thresholds
* Familiarity with construction contracts including PWMF and RIAI forms
