About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Business Partner to join our HR team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on all aspects of employee relations, HR policies, and employment law. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice, while driving initiatives that support engagement, performance, and a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing complex employee relations cases, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to partner with business leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with managers and senior leaders to provide strategic HR support and guidance
* Lead and advise on complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, investigations, etc.)
* Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly across the organisation
* Support organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and workforce planning
* Work with leaders to identify and address training, development, and succession planning needs
* Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to building a high-performance culture
* Provide coaching and support to managers to strengthen people management capability
* Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decision making
* Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver on projects, policies, and compliance requirements
* Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and industry best practice
Qualifications & Skills
* 5+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR role
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice
* Proven experience handling complex employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* HR qualification or related degree (CIPD accreditation is desirable)
