What You’ll Do
1. Develop a data-driven monitoring program to proactively identify and address compliance risks aligned with Flutter’s risk environment, regulations, business aims, and strategic goals.
2. Create and input monitoring reports with critical control metrics.
3. Conduct end-to-end assurance reviews on business risks, regulatory requirements, and emerging issues to identify control weaknesses.
4. Test control environment design and effectiveness through sampling and data analysis.
5. Maintain high standards of assurance work according to team frameworks and methodologies.
6. Communicate findings to stakeholders throughout the assurance process.
7. Identify and escalate regulatory breaches or significant control weaknesses.
8. Manage corrective actions to ensure effective business changes following assurance findings.
9. Build strong relationships with peers and management.
10. Provide assurance advice and support on various projects across Group functions and Divisions.
How You’ll Do It
* Experience in the Gambling sector or similar regulated environment.
* At least 3 years’ experience in Audit, Assurance, Compliance Monitoring, or similar roles.
* Strong analytical and technical auditing skills.
* Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance.
* Proficient in planning and delivering assurance reviews, ideally from a Big 4 background.
* Ability to identify issues, risks, and practical solutions.
* Experience with Data Analytics and drawing insights from data.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience with Power BI and reporting tools is desirable; knowledge of SQL is a bonus.
* Skilled at building relationships across different levels of the business.
* Adaptable communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with the three lines of defence.
* Ability to inspire change, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail, proactive, and self-motivated.
* A collaborative team player.
