Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Mechanical Design Engineers
Job Type:

Location:
Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co.
Kerry, Ireland.
Role
The role will involve the following:
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for milking machines, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and final products, identifying and resolving any issues.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and dairy technology, applying best practices and new techniques to product development.
Support the manufacturing process by providing technical expertise and guidance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the design and development process.
Continually strive to update your own technical knowledge, as well as your understanding of the company products, services and customer needs.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
Participate in the selection and procurement of mechanical components and equipment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in mechanical design and development
Excellent IT skills must be proficient in the use of MS Office.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and other engineering tools.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to dairy farming and milking equipment is a plus.
Passion for innovation and a commitment to improving the dairy industry through advanced technology.
