The Role
A leading Top 10 firm in Cork is seeking to appoint a Deal Advisory Manager to join its growing advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded advisory professional to take on a key role within a busy and expanding transaction-focused team.
The successful candidate will work closely with Partners and Directors on a wide range of assignments, supporting clients through acquisitions, disposals, fundraising, refinancing, due diligence, business reviews and strategic advisory projects.
This role would suit someone currently working at Assistant Manager, Manager or experienced Senior Associate level within Deal Advisory, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, M&A, Restructuring or Financial Due Diligence.
Key Responsibilities
As Deal Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a range of advisory engagements, including:
Managing financial due diligence assignments for buy-side, sell-side and lender clients.
Supporting M&A transactions, acquisitions, disposals, fundraising and refinancing projects.
Reviewing and analysing financial performance, EBITDA, working capital, cash flow, debt, forecasts and key business drivers.
Preparing and reviewing due diligence reports, financial analysis, transaction summaries and client presentations.
Identifying key deal issues, risks, opportunities and value drivers.
Supporting valuation work, business reviews and strategic advisory assignments.
Liaising with clients, banks, legal advisers, tax advisers and other transaction stakeholders.
Managing project timelines, deliverables and client expectations.
Supporting business development activity, including proposals, pitches and client meetings.
Supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of junior team members.
Building strong relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for further advisory support.
Working closely with senior leadership to grow the Deal Advisory offering in Cork and the wider Munster market.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be a strong advisory professional with excellent financial analysis skills and a genuine interest in transaction-led work.
You will likely have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Transaction Services
Corporate Finance
M&A
Restructuring
Valuations
Business reviews
Audit with strong transaction or advisory exposure
You should be commercially minded, confident dealing with clients and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced advisory environment.

Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience within Deal Advisory, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, M&A, Restructuring or a related advisory area.
Strong financial analysis and report-writing skills.
Good understanding of financial statements, EBITDA, working capital, cash flow and key commercial drivers.
Ability to manage client relationships and project deliverables.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to supervise and develop junior team members.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Commercial mindset with an interest in transactions, business performance and strategic advisory.
