Job Description:
The RCSI Clinical Research Centre is seeking a pharmacist to join its team at Beaumont Hospital. As a key member of the CRC Team, you will be responsible for advising and recommending on pharmacy facilities, processes, and resources required to establish clinical trial pharmacy services.
You will be undertaking a range of duties to support clinical trials and research studies conducted through the CRC, including completing all pharmacy activities according to approved CRC Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
You will participate in setting up and ongoing management of pharmacy-related activities for clinical trials and research studies, as well as writing, implementing, maintaining, and adhering to procedures for safe recording, handling, storage, and dispensing of medicinal products.
As a leader in the CRC Dispensary Pharmacy, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality initiatives, and best practice procedures, manage pharmacy equipment, provide medicines information, assist in training and supervision of other staff, and ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
* Minimum 5 years post-registration experience
* Possess requisite knowledge and ability for proper discharge of office duties
* Evidence of organisational and project management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills for communication and integration with clinicians and teams
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
* Postgraduate Diploma/Masters in Hospital/Clinical Pharmacy or related healthcare area
* Previous experience working as a research pharmacist
* Experience in commercial clinical trials of medicinal products or medical devices
