 
        
        This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to take on the role of Civil Engineering Project Coordinator in Cork.
The primary responsibilities will include:
 * Ensuring the safe and timely completion of construction works, aligning with project plans and specifications.
 * Managing day-to-day technical requirements, particularly those related to groundworks, utility ducting, road alignments, drainage systems, and site infrastructure packages.
 * Utilizing robotic total stations, GPS, and surveying tools to set out site works accurately.
 * Evaluating quality control measures across civil works, including road sub-base and surfacing, duct installation, drainage, and retaining structures, adhering to BCAR plans and relevant codes.
 * Liaising closely with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors, especially regarding coordination of underground services, road construction sequencing, temporary works, and traffic management plans.
 * Supporting the Project Manager/Contracts Manager in ensuring all infrastructure and civil engineering works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key skills and qualifications required include:
 * A third-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
 * Knowledge of various types of construction and construction techniques.
 * At least 2 years of experience working on Irish construction projects.
 * Competency in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination.
 * Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
 * Ability to formulate plans and execute in line with budget and timeline.
 * Capacity to make informed decisions and know when to escalate.
