DescriptionAWS Security is looking for a driven professional to join its high-security systems engineering team to manage the operation of our physical access control system (PACS), as well as help us automate a sustainable and robust architecture for future growth.As an SysDev, you will be responsible for the overall health and security of our critical service, providing excellent customer service to our partners in a classified environment.Key job responsibilitiesArchitect and implement enterprise-scale security solutions from conception to production, including custom PACS integrations and security automation frameworksDesign and develop high-availability distributed systems with emphasis on security, scalability, and fault toleranceLead the development of custom security tools and frameworks for system hardening, threat detection, and automated incident responseArchitect and implement zero-trust security models for critical infrastructure componentsDesign and build custom APIs and middleware solutions for security system integrationDevelop advanced automation frameworks for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment and configuration managementCreate sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems using machine learning for anomaly detectionImplement cryptographic solutions for secure communication between distributed systemsDesign and implement custom authentication and authorization protocolsLead technical design reviews and security architecture assessmentsMentor junior engineers and establish technical best practicesA day in the lifeEngineers on this team play an integral role in the future of physical security.
