Summary:
Our client is a biopharmaceutical company based in Limerick seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the construction of a warehouse at their facility. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities to ensure timely handover, meeting all safety, quality, and schedule commitments.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, report, and manage project deliverables.
* Manage third-party contractors and outsourced partners to ensure optimal project delivery concerning safety, cost, quality, and schedule.
* Promote a safety culture within the project team.
* Ensure project compliance with site and corporate regulatory guidelines.
* Oversee project management and execution, including planning, scoping, prioritization, resource management, status updates, and external communication.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope and ensure requirements are met.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress and challenges effectively.
* Address complex project phasing and execution issues with strategic solutions.
* Oversee activities from construction through commissioning and operation.
* Coordinate the introduction of new equipment, leading problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts prior to qualification and start-up.
* Support a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
* Present project status updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Third-level technical qualification or equivalent in Engineering.
* At least 8 years of experience managing similar pharmaceutical projects.
* Knowledge of safety, GMP, and environmental regulatory requirements.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
