Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present nutritious meals in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines.
* Lead or support kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP protocols.
* Oversee food storage, stock rotation, and waste minimization.
* Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergen awareness.
* Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on meal planning.
* Maintain a clean, compliant, and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
1. QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience in a healthcare or high-volume catering setting.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill processes.
4. Legal Right to Work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
5. Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
6. Strong communication and time management skills.
7. Flexible for weekday and weekend shifts on a rota basis.
