BMS Maintenance Manager - Building Services

€90,000 - €100,000 + 10% annual bonus + 10% employer pension contribution
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced BMS Maintenance Manager to lead and develop a high-performing Building Management Systems (BMS) maintenance team in Dublin. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of critical building systems across a portfolio of commercial and/or industrial sites.
You will take ownership of the BMS maintenance strategy, oversee technical delivery, and drive continuous improvement across all control and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the BMS maintenance team, providing technical guidance and leadership
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities
Ensure optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, energy, and building automation systems
Monitor system alarms, trends, and analytics to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers where required
Develop and implement maintenance strategies and improvement plans
Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and operations teams
Manage budgets, reporting, and performance KPIs
Requirements
Strong background in Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation Systems
Proven experience in a senior supervisory or management role within facilities or building services
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical/mechanical infrastructure
Experience with major BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Schneider, Siemens, or similar)
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
Relevant technical qualification in engineering, building services, or related field
