Our teams of experienced professionals are dedicated to delivering flexible, safe and environmentally sensitive solutions.Due to the continued success and growth of the business ENEXIV are seeking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor based at our offices in Lucan with frequent travel to sites.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupporting the Management & Construction Teams, you will be:· To maintain close working relationship with the business teams to provide active assistance and advise to ensure the effective implementation of the Group Safety Management System.· To participate in the appointment of competent persons to undertake key safety roles and work closely with managers and trainers to ensure their training needs are identified and provided.· To ensure risk assessment processes and systems are established for ensuring production, approval, communication, implementation and monitoring· To monitor for effectiveness, the procedures for the management of lifting operations, temporary works, inductions, fire and emergencies, permits and other bespoke procedures required for the safety execution of the works.· To participate in setting up and maintaining safety committees.· To ensure risks to third parties / other contractors are understood and actioned.· To contribute ideas to the team for the continued developed of the Company wide Safety Management System.· To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all health and safety matters relevant to the works and liaise with appropriate safety managers, safety organisations and trade associations.· To ensure that accident and incident investigation is properly carried out to identify both immediate and underlying causes, actions to prevent recurrence and a robust defence of claims.· To provide reports on health & safety performance to the relevant managers.· Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the construction industry community.· Maintain professional and close working relationship with directors, contracts managers, project managers and site management teams.· Promote Group health and safety abilities to staff and customers.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEAdvanced level – Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)Strong organisational skills and ability to work on projects and eventsProven experience working within a highly confidential and or regulated environmentAble to demonstrate the highest level of attention to detailExcellent capacity to plan and prioritise workloadAble to multitaskExcellent time management skillsFlexible and adaptableExperience of working to deadlinesConstantly seeking ways to improveSelf-motivated – set personal goals and appreciates the job satisfaction to be gained from a job well doneSelf-confident and diplomatic in dealing with people at all levelsProfessional and able to create an excellent first impressionWhat's in It for You?· A competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience· The chance to be part an exceptional team with great opportunities for advancement· A workplace that values your ideas and contributions· Support to succeed from all levels in the Business.· The opportunity to grow with a company that's going placeJob Type: Full-timePay: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
