Job Purpose The Night Shift Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within the warehouse during night operations.
This role plays a key part in meeting delivery schedules, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch in line with company procedures Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, conveyors, or forklifts (where trained and authorised)Checking goods in and out, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met Scanning and recording stock movements using warehouse management systems Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Following health and safety guidelines at all times, including manual handling procedures Meeting productivity and accuracy targets during night shift operations Reporting any damaged goods, shortages, or equipment issues to supervisors Skills and Experience Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential Ability to work night shifts reliably and maintain focus during unsociable hours Good attention to detail and accuracy Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks Basic IT or scanning system skills desirable Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From €16.27 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Bike to work scheme On-site parking Work Location: In person
