Job Description:
This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping. You will be working closely with a team of experienced professionals who will provide you with guidance and support throughout your training. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures, including recording and reconciling investment fund positions and General Ledger transactions.
Responsibilities:
1. Record and reconcile investment fund positions and General Ledger transactions
2. Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation
3. Maintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules
4. Develop your knowledge of bank reconciliations and Private Credit/Debt instruments
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification and computer literacy are also essential.
