The Role
1. Undertake surveys, inspections and site visits across residential and commercial projects
2. Review technical data, drawings, specifications and conditions to recommend solutions
3. Deliver detailed, accurate reports to high professional standards
4. Support senior surveyors and directors in inspections, defect analysis and advisory services
5. Provide guidance on building regulations, planning legislation, fire and housing regulations
6. Liaise with clients, contractors and other professionals to ensure effective collaboration
7. Maintain accurate records and manage workload effectively
The Person
8. Degree in Building Surveying, Property or Construction discipline (or equivalent experience)
9. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar consultancy role
10. Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations and best practice
11. Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
12. Proficient IT user (MS Office; Revit/BIM desirable)
13. Full driving licence essential
