Administrative Support Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Secretary to provide high-quality administrative support across various specialties in our Hospital. The role involves coordinating consultants' practices, patient pathways, and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* To oversee the medical secretary function for hospital suites.
This includes efficiently greeting patients on clinic days, booking appointments appropriately, and having a clear understanding of patient pathways throughout the hospital setting up and expanding clinics as required dealing with phone calls referral letters from GPs contacting patients regarding appointment times fees paid requesting information from other hospitals such as scans histology reports pathology reports etc handling cash payments for consultants ensuring these are entered onto system balanced daily billing patients taking place on prompt regular basis maintaining accurate records responsibility also lies within completing any reporting post consultations timely manner sending copies referring GPs consultant maintain efficient filing systems respectively software updated record accurately details necessary employers accurate interpretation respond clarity task professional courteous response telephone answering messages distributing referrals making appropriate training duties relief staff work experience provided further improving procedure mainly responsiveness respect
