Recruiters are partnering with one of Ireland's most exciting and rapidly expanding brands, and we're now looking to appoint a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day financial running of the business.
As the Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional who loves being close to operations, enjoys variety, and wants a role where they can genuinely influence financial processes, reporting, and the continued growth of a national brand.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
* Producing monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and financial insights to support decision-making.
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns, ensuring compliance with Irish tax regulations.
* Overseeing POS systems across multiple locations, reconciling transactions and ensuring accurate reporting.
* Taking ownership of stock control and inventory management, maintaining accuracy across all sites.
* Processing payroll and ensuring PAYE and statutory filings are accurate and timely.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and external accountants to support seamless financial operations.
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing insight and recommendations to drive growth.
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense tracking.
* Continuously improving financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the business.
Required skills and experience of the Finance Manager:
* 5+ years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance management.
* Proficiency in Xero (essential).
* Strong understanding of VAT and Payroll.
* A proactive, detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
