Position Summary This role sits within a growing finance function and offers broad exposure across reporting, operational finance, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership and non-finance teams, helping to ensure financial accuracy, scalability, and informed decision-making across the organisation. What Youll Own Group Reporting & Close Delivery Produce monthly financial outputs across multiple business units, contributing to consolidated group results. Execute month-end activities including postings, reconciliations, and reporting schedules. Ensure financial information complies with Irish accounting standards, tax rules, and statutory requirements. Coordinate audit inputs and support year-end processes with external advisors. Performance Planning & Financial Insight Support the creation of annual plans, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections. Review financial performance, investigate variances, and translate data into practical commercial insight. Develop financial models to assess investments, growth opportunities, and operational initiatives. Embedded Finance & Operational Oversight Manage and monitor day-to-day finance activity including payables, receivables, and cash movements. Review payroll outputs and maintain the integrity of balance sheet accounts. Partner with site and operational leaders to promote cost control and financial discipline. Contribute to the design and rollout of scalable processes, controls, and ways of working. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate recurring finance tasks. Governance, Risk & Standards Support the maintenance of effective internal controls and financial governance frameworks. Ensure finance processes align with regulatory and sector-specific requirements. Change, Transactions & Expansion Participate in finance-led change initiatives such as systems upgrades and process improvements. Support acquisition activity through financial evaluation, modelling, and integration support. Your Background Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). 13 years post-qualification experience in a broad accounting or finance role. Experience in a multi-location or high-growth environment is advantageous. Strong technical accounting capability with a working knowledge of Irish reporting standards. Advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud-based finance systems (NetSuite exposure beneficial). Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities. Takes ownership, balances accuracy with delivery, and approaches work in a practical, hands-on way. Confident communicator able to engage effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
