Mayo, Irelandjob type:Permanent / Full-timeSector and subsector:Engineering | CivilSalary:Negotiable SalaryIn partnership with our client (One of Ireland'sleading Civils and Utilities company's)who are currently looking for an experiencedProject Manager(Civils, Drainage & Utilities Projects)to join their team inMayo.The successfulProject Managerwill be supporting thedelivery of projectsacross all aspects of the business from aConstructionpoint of viewKey Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Be the primary point of contact and responsible for running numerous projects within urban and rural environments, with particular attention to urban environments.Ability to be view project through a commercial lens.Ability to detail costs to complete values and claims narratives.Building successful relationships with Clients, Client Representatives and other 3rd party providers and stakeholders.Ability to Draw, Construct and Review Drawings with a high level of detail for value engineering and efficient design.Ability to study design briefs and prepare proposed design packs from concept to detailed designs, with input into environmental, archaeology and other relevant aspects.Ability to draft and Communicate Regular Reports for the purposes of status reporting as well as guidance across the business with a view of directing actions required.Manage an existing team with communication and leadership skills that is both efficient, effective and motivational.Ability to liaise and coordinate seamlessly with multiple levels of Staff, Departments, Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and any other stakeholders.Interested in developing current team structures and processes with the ability to introduce new people to the company, along with external new supply chains.The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:Full clean driver's license essential.A relevant qualification is desirable.Experience with Civils, Energy & Utilities Projects is essential.Experience with works associated with GCC/FIDIC/NEC forms of Contract .Experience with Structures, Buildings, and General Civils, associated with the Utilities or PowerConfident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.Time management abilities to meet targets.Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.Benefits they offer are:Commercial Vehicle with fuel card, plus toll tag21 days annual leavePension - % will depend on the role and level of seniority – starts at 1.5%Laptop and phone€14.01 a day in line with Revenue Commissioner RulesIf you have aCivil Engineeringbackground, withOverhead Lines, Cable Tunnels/Cable Replacement Projects, Substations, and localElectricity / Distribution Networks,we are very keen to hear from you…Interested?
