Theatre Nurse Role
We are seeking a skilled Theatre Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the operating theatre department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopaedic, general, ophthalmology, gynaecology, ENT, pain management, urology, and vascular surgery.
* Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
* Support the theatre manager by meeting agreed responsibilities and contributing to the smooth operation of the theatre department.
* Identify and discuss nursing and patient needs with consultants and nursing team, multidisciplinary team, patients, and carers.
Requirements:
* Be a registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Have at least two years' post-registration theatre experience.
* Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development (CPD).
* A relevant theatre qualification is desirable.
