About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled catering professional to oversee the smooth operation of our hospital's food services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, ensuring high-quality food, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage catering staff in kitchen, dining areas, and other service points to ensure efficient service delivery.
2. Supervise staff schedules, attendance, and performance, including training and development to enhance skills and productivity.
3. Foster a positive work environment and maintain good working relationships with all staff members.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, hospital policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Participate in quality assurance programs and audits to continuously improve services.
6. Liaise with nursing staff to ensure patients receive correct meals and communicate effectively with them to address any concerns or feedback.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or contract catering in a supervisory role.
* Passion for food and patient care with excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or equivalent qualification.
