Treasury Business Analyst at N Consulting Ltd

As an experienced Finance Transformation Business Analyst, you will have several years’ experience working in Finance and Corporate Treasury Transformation projects. You will have a proven track record of implementing TMS projects and be able to utilize your experience working in Finance. You will have strong analytical, problem-solving, requirement management, and elicitation skills.

You will be proactive, show due diligence, be able to work autonomously but also collaborate effectively with your Project Team and stakeholders. Stakeholder Management and building strong business relationships are critical for this role.

As a Business Analyst at Beazley, your core purpose is to build a strong understanding of end-to-end user journeys and processes to accurately and efficiently elicit, challenge, and document requirements, processes, and scope. You will be a key member of the Process Improvement & Innovation (PI&I) team, focusing on “building the thing right” while maintaining a balance between value, technical debt, and building scalable solutions, essentially ensuring “building the right thing”.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, and implement the TMS solution with FIS, our implementation partner, as well as enhance our BAU processes and controls;
2. Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to develop and optimize TMS and surrounding BAU processes for functionality, reporting, audit, and control requirements;
3. Elicit, understand, challenge, and translate business value into requirements, creating high-quality user stories at the right time;
4. Ensure traceability of requirements and user stories throughout the product lifecycle;
5. Align requirements, user stories, and test outputs, including assisting with User Acceptance Testing;
6. Work closely with Product Owners to ensure user stories are detailed, thorough, and ready for configuration, owning them from conception to delivery;
7. Assist stakeholders in understanding trade-offs and achieving consensus;
8. Ensure solution designs align with Enterprise Architecture and design principles, seeking guidance when necessary;
9. Monitor and communicate industry, functional, and technology trends to stakeholders and coach them on leveraging these trends for business value;
10. Provide clear and frequent updates to key stakeholders on analytical tasks and progress;
11. Adopt a data-driven approach in all activities, respecting data flow as a key performance driver;
12. Build relationships with Product Owners, understanding their business and challenges.

Personal Specification:

Education and Qualifications

* Graduate education/qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).

Knowledge and Experience

* Experience in Business Transformation;
* Experience within a corporate or non-bank financial services environment or as an advisor in a leading consultancy or treasury management system vendor, particularly in areas such as treasury and cash systems, deal lifecycle, and treasury instruments;
* Strong knowledge of TMSs, with experience in FIS Integrity preferred;
* Experience in finance transformation projects, process re-engineering, and system implementation;
* Understanding of treasury processes, payments processing, and treasury accounting;
* Experience with SWIFT services, Agile methodologies, and working across multiple time zones;
* Proficiency in data flow & contract analysis, user story management, and documentation of complex processes;
* Experience with global teams, software providers, and delivering change in treasury environments;
* Strong communication skills for engaging with varied audiences;
* Understanding of enterprise architecture and design principles;
