Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, confident, and customer-focused Weekend Bar Supervisor to oversee bar operations during our busiest periods. In this role, you will lead the bar team, ensure excellent service, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and support a positive working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBar OperationsSupervise day-to-day bar service during weekend shifts primarily evenings.Ensure all drinks are prepared and served to company standards.Maintain stock levels, restock as needed, and report low inventory.Handle cash, card transactions, and end-of-shift cash-ups.Team LeadershipOversee bar staff, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth workflow.Provide support, guidance, and motivation to team members.Assist in training new staff on service standards and procedures.Customer ServiceDeliver exceptional customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally.Create a welcoming atmosphere and promote a positive guest experience.Health & SafetyEnsure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards.Monitor responsible alcohol service and manage any issues appropriately.General DutiesAssist with closing procedures.Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.Complete supervisory reports as needed.RequirementsPrevious bar or hospitality experience (supervisory experience preferred).Strong communication and leadership skills.Ability to stay calm and organised during busy periods.Positive attitude and strong customer service focus.Must be available for weekend shifts.Basic knowledge of stock control and cash handling is an advantage.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate.Opportunities for further training and development.A fun, fast-paced working environment.Job Type: Part-timePay: €13.50-€16.32 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 25 per weekAbility to commute/relocate:Shannon Industrial Estate, Shannon, CO.
