Recruitment Manager at Apex Global Resources Ltd
We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects.. The successful candidate will lead teams of electricians on-site, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise electrical installations on commercial and industrial projects.
* Manage and coordinate electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors on-site.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with Safe Electric requirements, and HSA standards.
* Interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and scope documents.
* Carry out quality inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
* Maintain strong communication with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, addressing delays or obstacles.
* Maintain site records, safety documents, permits, and testing logs.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Electrician – holding a National Craft Certificate
* Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
* At least 5 years' experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
* Proven experience with containment systems, 3-phase installations, switchgear, lighting, fire alarm, emergency lighting, data cabling, and power distribution.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Familiarity with permit to work systems, RAMS, and safety protocols on active commercial/industrial construction sites.
* Electrical Testing & Verification qualification preferred (ability to sign off QC numbers is advantageous).
* MSIC or other supervisory training is desirable.
