12 Months, Fixed Term Full-Time Post Position Summary The successful candidate will be involved in bacterial cultivation, genome/transcriptome sequencing & analyses, microbiological, biochemical, immunological and/or molecular biological activities.
The Post - Doctoral Researcher will develop, support and execute research activities within the dynamic, APC Microbiome Ireland based research team, to contribute to overall success of the project.
Qualifications and Experience Required: Candidates for the postdoctoral position should have a PhD in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology or immunology, or related discipline, and should possess substantial and relevant experimental/laboratory experience, in particular involving bifidobacteria, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications.

Achievement of the expected progression within Post Doc and Senior Post Doc is transferable between the Irish HEI's.
This can be reflected in the starting pay of a PD researcher.
