Overview
Account Executive role with a leading alternative lending firm targeting the Irish SME market. Dublin City Centre/Hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, prospect, and engage with SME clients to promote lending solutions (term loans, merchant cash advance, revenue-based finance, asset finance, etc.).
* Manage a sales pipeline from initial outreach through to deal close, ensuring a consistent flow of new business.
* Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and origination targets.
* Build strong relationships with SME owners, finance directors, and decision-makers, acting as their primary point of contact.
* Deliver a consultative sales process, understanding client needs and tailoring lending solutions accordingly.
* Provide a high standard of customer experience, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
* Gather and review client financial information, ensuring applications meet credit and underwriting requirements.
* Work closely with credit analysts and underwriters to ensure smooth processing and timely approval of loans.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* 1–3+ years’ experience in a sales, business development, or account executive role (ideally within financial services, lending, payments, SaaS, or fintech).
* Strong understanding of SME business needs, particularly around access to working capital, cash flow, and alternative financing options.
* Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
