Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Carlow for a Fibre Cable Technician. The Fibre Cable Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fibre optic cables. Daily tasks include conducting network surveys, working with structured cabling systems, and using hand tools. The technician will also be involved in electricity-related tasks relevant to cabling work.
Qualifications
* Experience with Cables and Cabling
* Proficiency in working with Electricity
* Skilled in using Hand Tools
* Knowledge of Structured Cabling systems
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant certifications or diplomas in telecommunications or related fields are a plus
* Previous experience in similar roles is beneficial
