Proven ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, operations, compliance teams, and technology delivery teams to deliver scalable mortgage solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.Core ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership & StrategyDefine and manage the mortgage product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.Collaborate with senior leadership to define product vision, strategy, and priorities.Own product backlog and ensure features are prioritized based on business value and regulatory requirements.Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify product enhancement opportunities.Drive digital transformation initiatives within mortgage origination and servicing platforms.Business Analysis & Requirements GatheringGather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process-mapping sessions.Analyze existing mortgage workflows and recommend process improvements.Ensure traceability between business requirements, testing, and implementation.Mortgage Domain ExpertiseSupport mortgage lifecycle processes including:Loan originationUnderwritingCredit assessmentProperty valuationLoan processingClosing and fundingMortgage servicingRefinancingCollections and foreclosure processesEnsure compliance with mortgage regulations, lending standards, and internal policies.Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to implement regulatory updates.Agile Delivery & Stakeholder ManagementAct as liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.Support Scrum teams with clarification of business requirements and prioritization.Coordinate UAT activities and support defect resolution.Provide regular project updates and status reporting to leadership.Change Management & Process ImprovementLead process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.Support organizational change management during system implementations.Develop training materials and support end-user training.Identify automation opportunities within mortgage operations.Experience and Skills Required10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant within mortgage banking or financial services.Extensive experience in mortgage origination and servicing systems.Proven experience delivering large-scale mortgage transformation programs.Strong background working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.Experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders including operations, underwriting, compliance, legal, and technology teams.Hands‑on experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and solution implementation.Experience working with third‑party mortgage vendors and fintech platforms.Exposure to cloud‑based mortgage platforms and digital banking solutions preferred.Mortgage Domain KnowledgeDeep understanding of:Mortgage lending lifecycleLoan origination systems (LOS)Mortgage servicing platformsUnderwriting processesCredit risk assessmentRegulatory complianceMortgage documentation and disclosuresSecondary mortgage market conceptsKnowledge of retail banking and lending operations.Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.Functional SkillsBusiness requirements analysisUser story creation and backlog managementProcess mapping and workflow optimizationGap analysis and impact assessmentStakeholder management and communicationUAT planning and executionBusiness process reengineeringProduct lifecycle managementRisk and compliance managementNTT DATA is an equal opportunity employer.
