Financial Operations Leader
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the efficient delivery of financial processing, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role will drive process improvements, systems optimization, and team leadership to support the organization's financial integrity and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, pensions, banking, taxation, general ledger, and systems administration.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, reporting, and month/year-end close.
* Oversee cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
* Strengthen and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Support internal and external audits and statutory obligations.
* Drive efficiency, automation, and transformation of financial systems and processes.
* Collaborate with finance leadership teams and key stakeholders.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
* Develop and monitor KPIs for operational performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with a degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
* 1015+ years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
* Experience managing shared services and delivering finance transformation initiatives.
* Strong ERP systems knowledge (e.g., Sun, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
* Proven track record in change management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
* ESG reporting experience desirable.
