Role Responsibilities
Manage daily onsite material processing, recovery, and disposal operations.
Ensure health, safety, & wellbeing of all staff and visitors.
Maintain compliance with Environment Agency permits and legislation.
Support recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Oversee preventative maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate material transportation and ensure compliance with permits.
Conduct safety briefings and competency assessments.
Participate in SHEQ working groups and review meetings.
Maximize plant availability and material throughput.
Manage operational costs and staffing levels.
Oversee payroll approval processes.
Skills & Experience
5-7 years in supervisory or site management roles.
Experience in waste management, construction, or industrial environments preferred.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Full driving license.
