We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as a Department Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and leading a high-performing sales team.

As a Department Manager, you will be expected to develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead by example and model behavior that reflects our company values
• Manage conflict and take ownership for your part in the team dynamic
• Act as the Transformational Leader of the Floor and motivate the team to achieve sales plans and personal sales goals
• Ensure high levels of customer service through extensive product knowledge and product ownership
• Partner with management to ensure effective store communications and execution of value-added team meetings
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere that is fun, professional, productive, and team-oriented
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• 2-4 years of experience in a high-volume, customer-driven retail environment
• Strong personal selling and customer relations skills
• Previous sales leadership and motivation experience
• Ability to lift (at least 30 lbs), carry, push, pull, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, crawl, reach, and bend
• Availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, store openings, and closings, to meet the needs of the business
Educational Background
A degree or equivalent experience in a related field would be advantageous but not essential.
Working Environment
As a Department Manager, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. You will be required to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
