Job Title: Family Care Director
Role Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our team as a Family Care Director. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of childcare and care practices are upheld.
Main Responsibilities:
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and National Standards for Children's Residential Centres.
* Physical Care and Safety: Promote high standards of physical care, hygiene, and safety for all children.
* Care Management: Manage the home to meet individual children's needs and promote positive outcomes.
* Pre-Admission and Admission Processes: Participate in these processes to identify placement needs and develop care plans.
* Care Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans in accordance with agreed standards.
* Representation: Represent the Home in planning meetings, statutory reviews, and management team meetings.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, and other professionals.
* Safe Environment: Foster a safe and homely environment that promotes the well-being of children.
* Staff Supervision: Supervise and support staff to ensure effective communication and consistent care.
* Governance: Implement governance systems to ensure continuous improvement in service quality.
