Job Title: Assistant Manager

Job Purpose
As Assistant Manager, the person will support the Branch Manager in branch management and in his absence. The role ensures the team achieves service, sales, and quality targets in a customer‑focused environment while adhering to company policies including Health & Safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy.
Coordinate operations of the branch.
Perform mechanical/tyre fitting duties on the workshop floor.
Support on mechanical queries.
Ensure schedules and objectives are met.
Engage staff.
Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources.
Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs.
Secure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Ensure all administrative work is conducted in a timely manner.
Record all relevant details on in-house systems.
Support Branch Manager as requested (e.g., audits).
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
Good technical ability.
Mechanical knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Leadership experience.
Full clean driving licence.
Experience using and navigating computers.
