An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Environmental Health & Safety Lead to join a fast-paced and dynamic food production site in Naas, Co. Kildare .
This role offers the chance to take real ownership of day-to-day EHS operations while working closely with senior management to drive site-wide safety initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing: Leading the daily operations of the EHS department Updating risk assessments and safety documentation Investigating incidents and ensuring follow-up actions Managing internal audits, inspections, and regulatory readiness Coordinating and delivering safety training across the site Supporting a proactive, high-performing safety culture What We're Looking For: A Level 8 qualification in Health & Safety (or related) 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing or a high-risk environment Strong communication and reporting skills Certified Manual Handling Instructor, Occupational First Aider, and Train the Trainer (ideal) A motivated, detail-oriented safety advocate who can lead and influence This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on people, processes, and the environment-perfect for someone ready to grow in a supervisory EHS role.
