We're looking for a Construction Planning Engineer to join our ambitious, future-focused team at Strata.

You'll play a key role in how projects are planned, tracked, and delivered, combining strong technical understanding with modern, data-driven tools and methods.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed master construction programmes, aligned with project objectives and key milestones.
Provide detailed schedule development of Civils and MEP systems from first principles, in close consultation with construction, engineering, and site delivery teams.
Establish and operate robust project controls procedures to monitor progress, performance, productivity, and programme health.
Produce and present clear, accurate progress reports for both internal leadership and client stakeholders.
Support the preparation and review of method statements, contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Create and present detailed sequence sketches, phasing diagrams, and storyboards to support site coordination and construction planning.
Collaborate with site, design, engineering, and commercial teams to gather information, identify programme risks, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Implement and maintain progress measurement systems, including earned value analysis, quantities installed, and tracking of critical systems.
Track procurement activities, off-site fabrication, modularisation, and delivery interfaces, ensuring alignment with the construction programme.
Support change management, delay analysis, and impact assessments, particularly within live or phased operational environments.
Maintain a strong understanding of key programme drivers and float management, proactively communicating risks, constraints, and deviations to ensure works remain on programme.
Qualifications: Degree-qualified in Engineering or Construction Management.4 years' relevant experience in the construction industry, experience with a main contractor is advantageous.
Working knowledge of project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Interest or experience in digital construction Process-driven and analytical, with excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel up to 50% across project locations.
Must have the right to work full time in the EU.
Additional Experience in these would be advantageous:· Experience or strong interest in the Data Centre sector· Experience in Digital Construction (e.g. Power Bi, 4 D Synchro, QSRA etc )· Understanding of MEP systems ( Electrical dsitribution, HVAC/CHW, Life Safety, Controls & BMS/PMS )· Familiarity with commissioning processes (IST, Level 1–5 commissioning).
