You will perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on a mechanical, electrical, and other building system.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct planned preventative maintenance for electrical systems.Perform planned preventative maintenance for HVAC systems.
* Demonstrate computer literacy with basic skills in Microsoft Office packages, including email,
Excel, and Word.
* Complete all site lighting repairs and replacements.
* Carry out reactive repairs to ensure minimum downtime of equipment.
* Meet service level agreements and respond promptly to emergency breakdowns across the
site.
* Fulfil all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) requirements before commencing any
work.
* Ability to perform multi-skilled tasks as needed.
* Specify and order materials required for projects, ensuring that stock levels of critical spare
parts are maintained.
* Solve problems efficiently, providing timely solutions for all necessary repairs.
* Liaise daily with the help desk, management, and customers to provide updates.
* Supervise subcontractors on-site to maintain a comprehensive contractor management
system, including health and safety protocols.
* Actively contribute to and participate in continuous improvement activities within the team.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team on multi-disciplined projects.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, material handling, and safety at all times.

o Provide on-call cover on a rota basis if required.
About You
We are seeking a trade-qualified Electrician with at least 5 years of experience. The ideal
Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications And Skills
* Full driving license
* Strong client focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in completing and adhering to method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans
of Action, and relevant permits for work activities
* Desirable experience in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
* Desirable experience in BMS (Building Management Systems)
* Completed Health and Safety training, Safe pass, CSR card, or IOSH certification
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Desirable experience with CAFM systems, such as Planet, Maximo, or Service Insight
* Flexibility to work outside standard hours (note: this is an annualized hour contract)
* Ability to complete paperwork and reports accurately
* An enthusiastic approach to work
* Neat appearance and professional demeanour
* Ability to conduct work professionally within client premises
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite
* Desirable certification and experience in emergency light testing
