YOUR ROLE
Our air operations team in Dublin have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Pricing Specialist to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development and implementation of local pricing programs, policies, and procedures from both a functional and technical perspective.
This is a hybrid, Monday to Friday role. Due to the nature of the role, you can be based in our Shannon or Dublin office.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Procurement Manager UKI you will conduct in-depth analysis of cargo flows to and from the local country, identifying trends and opportunities. You will develop and maintain comprehensive routing and rate guides, ensuring these are reviewed and updated on a monthly basis to reflect market changes.
You will manage and update pricing files for Local Freight Management requests for quotes and RFQ's, ensuring that pricing remains competitive and identify key pricing strategies to maintain favourable Net Revenue margins to drive consistent performance and improvement.
You will collaborate closely with operations and onboarding teams to facilitate the seamless implementation of new business, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organizational standards.
You will actively engage with customers to follow up on opportunities as well as offer solutions that will align with customer requirements and business objectives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of freight management and proven pricing experience, ideally within an air-based freight forwarding environment, along with proven experience in developing and analysing information and understanding and interpreting department policies and procedures and laws, rules, and regulations.
You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to influence and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers at the highest levels within customer organizations. You will be proficient is using Microsoft based programs such as Excel and Power Point.
