Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on energy consumption in healthcare premises.
Synthesizing existing knowledge to support the development of new energy awareness management teams in designated locations.
Establishing best practices in existing areas by identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborating with Hospital Green Teams and Energy Teams to achieve common goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Level 8 (or higher) QQI major award in Mechanical, Electrical, or Sustainable Energy Engineering.
Membership of Engineers Ireland.
At least five years' experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, including design, project management, or maintenance of buildings/services.

The Technical Services Officer will also be an active team member of the Regional Energy Bureau.
The position involves collaborating across all Regional Energy Bureaus and reporting to the National Capital & Estates Energy Unit Estates Manager.
The successful candidate must provide monthly activity and expenditure reports.
The Technical Services Officer will contribute to the annual energy minor works program.
