About the Role A leading company in the energy technology sector is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 12-month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts Deliver monthly financial reporting and analysis Oversee the monthly billing cycle and perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations Review and reconcile company credit card transactions Maintain and update accruals and prepayments Reconcile intercompany transactions Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Liaise with external partners for payroll, staff expenses, and tax filings Maintain the group fixed asset register Support group cash flow forecasting Assist the Head of Finance with financial modelling and annual budgeting Prepare annual financial statements and support year-end audit requirements Contribute to the design of internal and external presentations for board, lender, and investor audiences Support financial and market analysis and ad-hoc finance team tasks Key Capabilities Required Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent) Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and presentation development Energy sector experience is a plus but not essential Advanced PowerPoint and Excel modelling skills Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset If you are interested in this role - please apply with your most recent CV to Ciara Lawler for immediate consideration.
