Health and Safety Officer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment across all sites.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting regular audits, inspections, and site visits to monitor compliance and best industry practice.
2. Investigating and reporting H&S accidents, incidents and near misses, determining root cause and implementing preventative corrective action alongside site teams.
3. Developing and reviewing Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Working Procedures for work activities across all sites and continually monitoring changes in working procedures and updating accordingly.
Additionally, the successful candidate will build strong working relationships at all levels to advise on and promote a culture of engagement and continuous improvement in regard to health and safety.
This role requires travel between sites regularly and as necessary. You will also be involved in development and delivery of internal training, including toolbox talks, safety alerts, and scheduled in-house training on health, safety and environmental topics.
