Overview
Lahart Clonmel are looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our Parts team in Clonmel. Working with our successful team, your challenge will be to contribute to our parts growth by providing our customers with a solution that meets their unique requirements. You should be well presented, enthusiastic and able to work on your own initiative. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be computer literate and be able to fulfill administrative duties. You will be confident in dealing with the public and trade alike whilst delivering a first class service.
The Role
* Deal with aftersales customers on the phone, in person and online
* Order, organise and maintain parts stock
* Complete customers parts estimates in a timely manner
* Conduct daily stock control checks
* Accurately identify, locate and pick parts for Trade and Retail customers
* Maintaining and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and email
* Market and promote genuine parts, lubricants and consumables to trade customers
* Introducing and promoting the Trade Link programme to trade customers
The Candidate
* Friendly, customer focused disposition
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Email)
* Entrepreneurial approach to growing parts sales to the trade
* Drive to achieve results and to be involved in a variety of tasks which call for accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent telephone manner, with product knowledge to interpret the customer’s needs and ensure that the right parts are sold
* Ability to maintain quality operating procedures, adherence to rules and processes
* Previous Parts Advisor/Parts Manager experience
* A full, clean Irish or EU current driver’s licence is required for this position
