THE ROLE
The Permanent Part-time Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Officer role is to support compliance, promote best practice, and drive continuous improvement across our organisation.
The successful candidate will main high standards in health, safety, and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation, company policies, and relevant ISO standards.
Reporting to: Group Head of Operations
Hours: ***** hours per week.
Days: Monday-Friday.
Contract: Permanent Part -time.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Recognised third level Health, Safety Qualification i.e., BSc in Health and Safety.
Highly proficy with computers, IT systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written & verbal English and have the communication skills and the ability to influence Safety performance.
Experience in Health & Safety Incident Investigation.
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Excellent knowledge of relevant Construction related HSEQ requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist or conduct accident investigation reports and communicate findings to management.
Ensure compliance with and assist in the preparation of internal HSEQ Audits, Fire Drills & external Audits ie ISO & ***** Audits as well as other External Audits.
Deliver internal and external communications to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
Promote and maintain a positive HSEQ culture and safe work environment in conjunction with the Wtech Fire Group Health & Safety Statement.
Carry out Risk Assessments and prepare other HSEQ Documentation.
Responsible for maintaining Employee & Subcontractor Training Records & Training Register.
Ensure compliance with Irish Legislation, Regulations & Codes of Practice.
Preparation & delivery of Toolbox Talks & Safety Briefings.
