Mental Health Support Specialist
Job Description:
As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be working closely with clients to provide personalized mental health support and guidance. You will be responsible for creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves and work through their challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1-on-1 telehealth or onsite mental health support for clients
* Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addiction, and more
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent accredited program
* A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience and 500 supervised clinical hours (excluding internships and academic placements)
* Expertise in Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for trauma survivors, Somatic Experiencing (SE)
* Must hold valid and active licenses applicable to the country of practice
* One supervision session every 2 months
* Proficiency in English and your local language
